Impact Factor of COL in 2013 Breaks 1

It is a pleasure to announce that the Impact Factor of Chinese Optics Letters (COL) in 2013 is 1.073 according to the recently released Journal Citation Reports, ranking 53 among all the total 82 journals in optics category, and the total citation of COL ranks 37.

With its debut in January 2003, COL is co-published monthly by Chinese Laser Press (CLP) and The Optics Society (OSA), sponsored by the Chinese Optical Society (COS) and Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics, CAS (SIOM). 

COL is an international journal aimed at the rapid dissemination of latest, important discoveries and inventions in all branches of optical science and technology. It is distinguished by its short review period (~30 days) and online publication period (~100 days).
