Future Trends in Molecular and Bio-Photonics
The conclusions of the Workshop on Future Trends in Molecular and Bio-Photonics (11-12 December 2008, Cachan, France, supported by the Photonics Unit of the European Commission) are now summarised in the Consultation Document.

On 11-12 December 2008 the Institute d'Alembert of Ecole Normale Superieure in Cachan (France), organised a workshop with European experts in the field of Moleculqr Photonics and Biophotonics. The workshop was supported by the Photonics Unit of the European Commission's Directorate General Information Society and Media.
The conclusion of this workshop is summarized in the Consultation Document. This document is now made available for a public online consultation. Anyone interested in this topic is invited to provide feedback, comments or suggestions until 7th September 2009. Further arguments on the need to carry out such an initiative at EU level, on critical mass, identification of potential ICT applications and references to other ongoing similar initiatives at national level are welcome.
