Registration

At least one author of an accepted contribution is requested to register properly in advance to the conference. If an author is to present more than one contributed paper, a co-author is requested to register properly to this conference.

Oral presentations

Authors were requested to upload their presentations prior to the conference; details were provided by the service company m-events. In exceptional cases authors can upload their presentations on-site at the “Speaker‘s check-in” in Hall B0. All uploaded files will be destroyed after the conference. Authors are requested to come to the conference room well in advance of their presentation to check-in with the conference chair.

Time slots: For the EOSOF Conference, presenting authors are allotted 15 minutes (12 minutes presentation plus 3 minutes for discussion).

For EOSMTOC, EOSOME and EOSLE conferences, presenting authors are allotted 20 minutes (17 minutes presentation plus 3 minutes for discussion). Please plan your presentation accordingly to meet the time limit.

Technical equipment: All technical equipment (presentation computer, video projector, sound system, laser pointer) will be available on-site.
Personal laptop cannot be connected in the conference rooms.

Poster presentations

Location: The poster sessions will take place in hall B0.
Required Poster size: The posters should have a size of DIN A1 (594 x 841 mm) or DIN A0 (841 x 1189 mm) in a portrait format (no landscape format). Poster board dimensions: 100 cm (W) x 150 cm (H)
Set-up/dismantling: Poster numbers will be displayed on the poster boards to show authors where to place their poster. Material for poster mounting will be provided.

Tuesday, June 23, 17:30-20:00 EOSOF Poster Session
Poster authors are requested to be present at their posters during the official poster session. Please prepare and print your poster in advance to the conference. Poster set-up and removal is in the responsibility of the authors. Any posters left on the boards at the close of the poster session will be discarded.

Publish in JEOS:RP

Presenters at the EOS Conferences at WPC are kindly invited to consider the submission of a manuscript about their research to the EOS open-access on-line journal JEOS:RP (Journal of the European Optical Society, Rapid Publications, www.jeos.org). A 20% discount will be applied to the author fee. JEOS:RP publishes articles about recent scientific research and technological innovation as well as review papers about a topic in science or innovation from the recent past. A contribution should be original and will be subjected to the journal’s standard anonymous peer review process for scientific quality. The average time-to-publication of the journal is of the order of 75 days. The copyright of a published paper resides entirely with the author. When submitting your manuscript, please, mention the research results were presented at the WPC EOS Conferences.

The author fees, VAT excluded, are:
EOS-members                      280 Euro  (instead of 350 Euro)
non-EOS members               320 Euro  (instead of 400 Euro)
